Like in this post, it seems that every Monday I end up focusing on getting back to a normal routine after the weekend. And while I do not hate my work, I still procrastinate on it! Therefore, Monday is not always the most fun day! But, like I said here, I have discovered that poetry is a way to lighten days when they seem rather dull or hard!
Never ending dishes, never ending mess,
Never ending laundry, it can be quite a stress!
Work can be so hard. It can be quite a pain.
But, we should always work hard. It will end up a gain.
Keeping away the dirt and dust, keeping away the mold,
Children, do things happily, obey what you are told.
Since Jesus came and took our sins away forever more,
Then surely we can spend some time just cleaning up the floor!

Another type of poetry I love is Haiku. Haiku doesn’t quite have the rhyming rhythm I love, instead they have a different type of rhythm. This is how they go:
The first line. Five sounds.
Line two. Seven syllables.
Last one. Five again.
Some days work is hard.
Some times it’s not very fun.
Still, it is worth it.
Let’s be like Dory.
Let us go when it is hard.
Let’s just keep going!
Why work every day?
Why keep going when it’s hard?
Cause God works for us!
Poems are beauty.
They’re like flowers in gardens.
Or like tunes in songs.
I love poetry. It is relaxing and fun. And it’s encouraging in many ways! I hope these poems can be a bright spot to your day today! Have a great Monday everyone! May there be many flowers, songs and poems in your day!
