I have considered how to start my blog several times! I’ve had plenty of ideas, but never really decided on a certain one. So I guess I will just write what is on my mind!
They say the first step of starting new things is the hardest, and I believe it! I don’t know what’s out there, or what is up ahead, I’m just jumping forward, ready or not! And in many ways I’m not ready! Still I’ve learned if I wait till I’m ready, then I’ll never go! And if I never go, then I never have adventures, never write the stories, and never reach the mountain tops. So why wait?
After all it seems that life is full adventures and new things to try! It will always provide something to wonder about, learn or do! Life is confusing, but inspiring, exhausting, but invigorating! And if I don’t jump out there, then I will miss it all! And I don’t want to do that!
So today I want to focus on starting new things, for that’s on my mind! And the best way for me to do that is a poem!
Beginning is first, and never ever last. Though often it’s the part that we go right past.
But it really makes a difference, how something is begun. The beginning sets the way for when the work is done.
And if it’s started lazily, it will always be a pain, instead of being finished, it must be done again.
If the beginnings hurried, to quickly get right through, then it often takes much longer, yes, I’ve found this to be true!
The beginning is important for you can always see, the work that is behind you was done correctly.
And work well done inspires us to finish what we start, so then we’ll keep on working even in the hardest part.
So start your work out well, and always do your best. Be sure to keep on working, though it’s ok to rest.
But when your rest is finished, just continue on, and soon you’ll find your work was very quickly gone! R.J.F.
So every morning as I begin a new day, begin school, and work, I need to remember to start well and continue on! And I love to procrastinate so this will be a challenge! But like I said earlier I think it will be worth it to just start, because if I don’t, I never will. And life is worth the work of starting! And speaking of which, I guess I just started my blog! 😉
