Last week in my post spring activities, I discussed some of my favorite things to do in the spring. Well something else I love to in the spring is have picnics. And last week I finally got around and had one. Only it wasn’t just any ordinary picnic, it was a tea party! I had a lot of fun setting up the props, rearranging them, and of course, taking pictures!
I took our rocking chair out for a perfect place to perch to read books or even strum the guitar!
My great grandma’s quilt was a cozy blanket to relax on while munching on snacks and sipping tea. And I set up Mom’s old suit case for a little table. Meanwhile the picnic basket held the sheet music and harmonicas, ready to be used when needed.
The flower bouquet added a spot of brightness and helped bring out the flowers on the tea set too!
The rocking chair was a very comfy place to do just about anything, which made it a favorite of mine! And it was great for the pictures!
The guitar added a fun, homey touch to the fancy picnic. It made me think of singing with friends and making up songs!
And I had a lot of fun with Mom’s suitcase!
It worked very well for the pictures I wanted!
The snacks were a lot of fun too! (Of course when are snacks not fun?!)
It all worked quite well and was a very enjoyable tea party! But with musical instruments, books, and snacks, how could it not be enjoyable! I definitely plan on doing it again!
